This shouldn't be an issue if you take a legit copy of Logic from the App Store.

Ack!

I just bought a used MB pro off of Craigs..Information technology wasn't wiped had a bunch of stuff on it including Logic X..must be a crack. Thanks Steve...after a few searches i was wondering if that could be the effect.

At $199 Logic is worth having IMO. I would attempt to remove the cracked version and buy it through the AppStore.

Probably just wipe the whole reckoner. If they're installing cracked software who knows what else they got on in that location that may cause you issues down the route. Skillful luck!

Mac users using cracks, who would have thunk it

In order to update, I believe you need to be logged in with an Apple ID which has purchased Logic Pro Ten.

This should go for all Mac App purchases.

No ones really answered the question properly, yous demand to have updated to Mavericks for the update to exist available. Very unlikely it was a fissure.

Cleft or non. He said it was on someone else's account so he volition need to purchase if he wants updates.

Yep, every bit indicated in the offset post..Im in Mavericks.

Im not gonna ask the seller for his sign-in to the App store if information technology isn't a crack.

I use Reaper these days and Logic was a just bonus as information technology was on the car i purchased.

I've been messing around with it a bit..not sure what to recollect of it however. For some reason, it doesn't strike me as a typical Apple tree designed plan..I tin can't think of one Apple program that I wasn't up and jamming on pretty chop-chop in the past..this ane, though pretty deep,...I dunno, just doesn't seem as friendly equally a typical Apple program.

It's crashed a few times right in the middle of stuff so that'due south why I went to look for updates.

I dont see that anywhere...

You lot should really wipe the estimator and start with a fresh install. Not only considering it would be nice to the seller if they did not understand to do this. Only also to be sure there are no suspect applications or other crap installed.

It is pretty user-friendly and intuitive for such complex pro-software in my opinion. What practice you expect of a DAW? You open up it and right away y'all magically understand everything as if you had been using it all your life? Reaper is no more convenient than Logic.

Only my stance. But I don't know how a DAW for professional users is supposed to get any simpler and more than accessible than Logic. You accept to invest some time to learn it of course, just similar with everything in the globe.

That's probably because Logic has just been an Apple programme since 2002, when they bought Emagic. Apple has refined information technology and extended it, but I've used Logic since the early days, and at that place's plenty of Emagic even so in it.

Oh honey..don't be then severe, Brandano. What I expect and hope for if for you to heed your manners and not approach me like I'k your ****ing stepson. I didn't mean to hurt your software's feelings.

You could switch Logic Pro 10 to MainStage UI wait manner in case Logic Pro X is complex.

Now, I don't call back Pro X is that hard to apply, picket a couple of YouTube clips in example you are unsure. Enough of videos showing nearly annihilation you want to do with Logic.
